2009 Cohasset Cultural Council Grant Awarded
Created by ARTS on 21st March 2009, 10:10 amWorking closely with Arts Department Chair, Nina Berkowitz, the Cohasset MHS Arts Boosters applied for and received the exciting news that it is a 2009 Cohasset Cultural Council (a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council) grant recipient! The grant has afforded the students in Cohasset High School's Honors Art Major class the privilege to participate in the creation of the beautiful Village Art Mural. Not only was this an endeavor that allowed the students to experience the type of enrichment not otherwise offered in the regular school curriculum, but it provided them with the opportunity to contribute a piece of their artform to be enjoyed by everyone in our community in a meaningful and lasting manner.
