A Thank You from the Cohasset Arts Boosters
Created by Boosters on 16th August 2006, 3:26 pmThe Cohasset Arts Boosters and the Cohasset Middle-High School Arts Departments have successfully completed an extraordinary year filled with enriching programs and opportunities for their students. With the invaluable and generous support of parent and corporate funding, and a superlative partnering with the faculty and administration at Cohasset Middle-High School, we have been able to:
Fund and facilitate the creation and maintenance of the Cohasset Arts Boosters Website as a resource for school and community use
Fund and assist the production of the High School's first professionally engineered Band/Chorus/Jazz Ensemble CD
Obtain a grant from the Cohasset Cultural Council for a "Living Art Gallery" installed throughout the Middle-High School and fund additional frames and credit plaques
Purchase a digital photography printer
Obtain a sewing machine for classes
Fund Cohasset's entry in the Massachusetts High School Drama Guild's annual Festival
Fund student designed T-Shirts sold at Fine Arts Night 2006
Fund and secure prop and set pieces from donors
Fund Cohasset's first ever entry in the Massachusetts High School Drama Guild's Middle School Festival
Fund the procurement of scripts to be part of the school's permanent collection
Establish and create an "Arts" trophy display case outside the auditorium
Grant Senior College Scholarships and Awards
Fund display boards created by Mr. Al LaFountain and his classes
Fund color cover for Cohasset Arts Magazine
Assist with purchase of Ludwig Timpani Drum
Publicize the accomplishments of our fantastic students and teachers
